Went there for years but when Mr Sukhi left a few years ago, it dramatically went downhill, all their curry's were either tasteless or had way too much salt in them. I now go to the Akash across the road and further up towards Darwen, it's much better.
It is with regret that I write this review. I have been a long standing customer of Sukhi's for many years. The food has always been first class and consistent however the last 3 takeaways have been more than disappointing, The quality has changed and ingredients diminished in quantity. For example I have ordered many times a mixed tikka vindaloo which comprised of 4 pieces of chicken 4 pieces of lamb and 2 king prawns...now their offering was 3 pieces of chicken 3 pieces of lamb & 1 prawn.
With more takeaways per head of population to choose from than anywhere else in England, Sukhi's in Darwen remains, as it has for many years, the Premier place to get takeaway Indian, Portuguese, English, etc spicy food.
